It’s about time

‘It’s about time’ was an idea that has developed and morphed from time banking in the first Glasgow workshop to a fully developed service that matches people together to help out with day to day tasks whilst creating friends in the process.

They say they are like Dr Who it’s a sustainable service that lives forever.  It’s about rekindling a proactive community spirit to help people with the small things that often make them feel isolated.

The team was made up with

  • Lauren Coleman (Designer, GSA)
  • Val Farmer (Start Here)
  • Alan Foster (NHS GG&C)
  • Anne Hughes (NACE)
  • Thomas Rodger (Peer Support Worker, Community Horizons)
  • Lynn Shields (Tuberous Sclerosis Association)
  • Alex Tavern (MS Society)
  • James Vale (Designer, GSA)
