The ALISS Open Innovation Process

This is part of of a project called ‘ALISS’* (Access to Local Information to Support Self-Management). ‘Self Management’ is an approach that the Scottish Government, the Long-Term Conditions Alliance Scotland, NHS Scotland, and a host of partner organisations and groups, want to use to support people with long-term conditions in living well with their condition. Being able to find out about things and people that can help you with that, is an important part of self-management. ALISS is trying to make information more findable.

In building this project and service, we want to work jointly with as many stakeholders as possible, to ‘co-create’ something that everyone would find useful and be willing to engage in. The best way of doing this that we could think of was an Open Innovation Process.

That’s what this site is about.

*NB. this bit of ALISS is also called ‘SupportingPipes’!
